Takara Tomy Metacolle Metal Figure Pokemon Snorlax

Snorlax is the next TakaraTomy Metacolle series Pokemon which happen to be one of the popular one in the series as it is so hard to find like Pokemon Go game. LOL

That being said, do you know in Japanese name, he is call Kobigon?

The status of the Pokemon are printed on the box. It show the Pokemon number and the height which is 2.1 meter. He is tall but he is super heavy with the weight of 460 KG!!

Out of box, the scale is close to the box packaging!

The toy also is heavy and both of his arms can be articulated.

You can put in his favourite position to sleep of course! LOL

That being said, Snorlax do look good and friendly.

Among the other 2 in the same series, Snorlax is the heaviest in term of these toys but the scale is definitely not to scale.

Among the 3 of them, who do you like most? Is it Snorlax?

LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Archer

Here's another short review of another LEGO minifigure from series 16, the Archer. Some call it Arrow or Robin Hood but whatever you call him, he sure look cool!

Wearing a green hood covering his face, having a bow and arrow. What's more he even have a crest with a Wolf insignia on it!

On his back is just his quaver of arrow.

When the hood is remove, you can see that he has a stylish beard with a smirk on his face. A pretty confident look.

This is a good figure that you can afford to be having extra to build an Army of Archer.

What do you think?

Pokémon Sun Solgaleo

Yesterday was the release of Pokémon Sun and Moon and remember in my last few post on my visit to Pokémon center Tokyo I saw some of figure? Finally got a chance to get a Pokémon Sun figure!!

This Pokémon figure originally comes in this simple white box which I believe suppose to be pre-order exclusive depending on which version you order in Japan.

The box is really plain that just state that inside is a PVC figure.

A close up on the detail of Solgaleo which is the legendary of Pokémon Sun! Detail and color is amazing.

I have to clarify that this is just a display figure with no joint movement at all.

The coloring is decent and the mold is neat and clean featuring all the necessary details...

Even the paws at the bottom are painted. I am impressed!

If you are wondering why I only get Pokémon Sun Solgaleo, because I chose the side of Sun in this series...

To be honest it is actually my kid who is playing. I don't get to play. T-T

Well Go Pokémon for me!!

LEGO Minifigures Series 16 Mexican Singer

Time to go back to my LEGO minifigure series 16 review of one of the figure I like. The Mexican guitar player or Singer.

Now this wasn't one of those figure that I really like in the beginning but somehow this figure grow on me. First I find the Guitar look really good and special as it is rather rare to have LEGO figure having musical instrument.

Plus the Guitar detail look good. See the chrome parts??

However when this was turned to the back, you can see the Guitar was rather hollow.

A few details that make this figure unique.
First was the guitar and another is he is one of those would have a great moustache which hang on his around his head. Due to that, he has a longer neck to make room for the moustache.

That being said, I always picture him singing Mexican songs to charm any ladies or Senorita.

Let's see if he can charm the Ice queen of the same series.

Apparently I over estimated him.

Guess Ice queen is not impressed. Anyway if you have more of him, they will be a great band.

Don't you think so?

Takara Tomy Metacolle Metal Figure Pokemon Charizard

My review of TakaraTomy Metacolle figure continue since I last ended with Pikachu. This time it is Charizard!

Charizard was the English version but in Japan, they call him Lizardon as it is stated on the box.

The top of the cover would show Charizard head as if you put them stacking together it is easy to see what figure it is.

On the side of the box, the Pokemon information will be stating this is the number 006 in the Pokedex and it has a height of 1.7 meter and weight 90.5Kg

Time to Open the toy!

Out of the box, the figure comes in 4 different parts. 2 wings, tails and the body which is where the metal diecast are.

First you have to stalk the wings together like below...

Then fit it at the back of Charizard...

Lastly fit in it's tail which is on fire.

The figure allow movement of both hands and feet. Too bad the head is not movable at all.

Close up of Charizard face really look good.

The hands can move up and down...

So does the feet that you can make him sitting down like this.

The only bone I pick on this series was the scale as placing beside Pikachu, Charizard look smaller than a Charmander...

Nonetheless the look of Charizard was good in details and just as you remember him in the Pokemon series.

More on the next Pokemon review later.
