Marvel Legends Shang-Chi Death Dealer Review

Today I am going to review Marvel phase 4 movie figure from Shang-Chi and this is Death Dealer. You maybe wondering why I get this figure out of the series. Because of the detail and design of this character as a toy. Straps up as I will dive deep on this figure review.Hasbro Marvel Legends Shang-Chi Death Dealer Toy

As I knew nothing of this character back story I purely got this figures because of it design. Very ninja looking but what I am impressed is the amount of details.

Let's start from the head of the painted face on a 6" figure you can see on closed up it very well painted with Chinese Opera look.

Moving down to the chest you can see he is actually wearing two layer with an silver armor looking inside it. I try to undress it but I could not succeed in doing so. But you can see there is something within. Again look at the texture of the costume.

Moving down look at the detail of the belt where the coloring is on spot.

Looking at the back of the belt, there is 2 throwing daggers on his belt but it is not removeable. Nonetheless the detail impressed me.

Moving down to the shoes, you can see the sole and texture of his boots. What is more you can see the painted design at the back of his legs.

Here is another close up of the Death Dealer who seems to be always aware of his surrounding.

One of the accessories was a left hand holding a throwing dagger. You can pose it as he is going to throw the dagger.

The other hand which is the right is a hand with 2 daggers flying off which look awesome for action and display.

Overall the figure is pretty much poseable but to a certain degree as his robe is 1/3 limiting his movement on the lower part. Which mean he cannot sit down.

Nonetheless for the design and detail, Hasbro had did a great job with it coloring. Hope to see more of such effort in the coming Marvel or Starwars toys Hasbro.

What do you think of this Death Dealer?

Not so long ago, 1 or 2 years ago I think, I visited a local toys and collectibles store and I had the chance to see some of these Marvel Legends figures, obviously from another series, "in the flesh" and I had mixed feelings... It looks like some figures were incredibly well designed and produced, while others honestly left much to be desired... This one belongs to the first group, because the level of detail, textures, paint job and realism are quite good for a 6" action figure!... By the way, Shang-Chi, as far as I know, is the Marvel version of Bruce Lee, mixed with Liu Kang...
