Here is another event you can attend on May the Fourth for Star wars fans in Singapore.
The Singapore Philatelic Museum has a host of exciting programmes for fans of the movie from special appearance by Troopers, dress up as characters from the movies, pose in costume to make a unique postcard, special event date stamp, interesting quiz to limited edition merchandise. This event is a fringe programme for “Light vs Dark Exhibition: Stamps and Collectibles” that features more than 2,000 collectibles such as postage stamps and First Day Covers from the Singapore Philatelic Museum’s collection, as well as figurines, fleet of model ships and vessels, and costumes on loan from memorabilia collectors from Singapore. The exhibition runs at the museum from 1 March to 30 June 2013

Don on costumes to transform yourselves into Star Wars characters and strike a pose. The photograph will be printed on a postcard. The postcard can be sent with the special May 4th event date stamp.
Charge: $10 for two postcards. Includes cancellation of event date stamp and 1st Local stamp. Proceeds will fund the operations of Singapore Philatelic Museum.
