Happy Chinese Lunar New Year 2011!

It's one of the big day today as it is the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. It's a tradition to celebrate as it mark the first of spring.

Being a Chinese, I always enjoy Chinese new year more so when I was a kid. It was the time to have new clothing, permission to eat as many sweets and snacks as possible and most of all getting "Ang bao" (red packet with money in it). All you have to do as a kid is to go to a married adult and wish them happy new year "Gong Xi Fa Cai".

Note: Yosuba wearing a Rabbit T-shirt as it is the year of the Rabbit in Chinese zodiac :D

And as a kid, you have the right to "demand" for the red packets. LOL However the content inside may vary but always the amount should be in even number.

Being a married adult now, the joy of Lunar New year are not so much on the red packet as I can no longer receive but have to give to the younger generations. I am certain my son will enjoy the most of Chinese new year this year. :)

Before I forget, here's my wishes to all you readers who have been reading my blog and celebrating Chinese new year.

身体健康, 财源广进, 合家平安, 恭喜发财!

Gong Xi Gong Xi! Huat ah!!!
