Classic Spider-man with Streetlight Scene Toy

For today review, I got a Classic Spidey with me. It is from Hasbro and with the information I gathered, this is one super-poseble Spider-man out in the market from the comic series by Todd Macfarlane.

Instead of the usual Blue and Red, this Spidey has black replacing his usual blue. The classic comic slim proportion of the body is one big attracting factor for me.

I like this spidey as the eye is big and more toward the comic feel. Take note of the Spider logo at his chest. It is like the movie logo...

However the back spider logo look very different. You may notice the paint job is quite bad. The skin was more to gloss than to Matt...

Did I mention that this figure come with "Street Light"? In actual fact, it is a Traffic light and it is rather flimsy due to the soft plastic... I tried very hard to get Spidey to cling on it trying to minic the picture at the back of the card and I failed.

The fingers have soft joint. I felt a bit cheated...

Anyway Let's play with it and see what poses I can obtain with this figure shall we?

Does this look familiar to you? Ya. Man in the mirror.

Let's do crawling...

Sticking onto the wall...

Swing around...

Where's the web?

Oh no... his web out!

Overall I am still very well pleased with the figure. Forget about the gimme Street light, I will get this figure alone for it's worth since I do not have a classic Spider-Man in my collection. Well I waited and I have one now! :)

Let's do the dance of joy shall we?

Finally, spidey. Haha. The paint job at the back is my only complain... Looks like a water flea than a spider to me... but overall... Looks nice!

@desmond: Thanks for your support. :)

@KazeTora: ya I also think the back spider logo look weird but that how it was in the comic from that artist at that point of time.

hello, I wanted to know more about the articulations in the fingers, are there in all the joints of the fingers or just the part connected to the knuckles?

Thanks for visiting my blog. :)

The joint of the finger are as follows.

Thumb = no articluation
Index = can
middle and ring finger = joint together in articulation forming the web shooting
Pinky finger = just like index that stand alone with articulation.

That apply for both hands. You may see the photo (although a bit blur) here. If you want a detail photo, you can email here.
