Macfarlane Terminator 3 Arnold Schwarzenegger

Terminator Salvation is opening this week and I am pretty curious how would the new terminator series turn out to be. As much as I catch the trailer, it do look quite similar with Transformers. As for Batman to be John Connor? Well I will keep that opinion to myself. Honestly I am rather skeptical how the new franchise is going to be. Even the PS3 I read sucks...

I missed the T1 and T2 so much that I re-watch it last week on my DVDs. What happen to T3 you might ask? I kick it out of the movie in my mind as far as I am concern. T3 sucks big time even though Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance in it. My all time favorite is none other but Terminator 2: Judgment Day. So here a Toy for it!! *Humming the Terminator tune at background*

"3 billion human lives ended on August 29th, 1997. The survivors of the nuclear fire called the war Judgment Day. They lived only to face a new nightmare: the war against the machines. The computer which controlled the machines, Skynet, sent two Terminators back through time. Their mission: to destroy the leader of the human resistance, John Connor, my son. The first Terminator was programmed to strike at me in the year 1984, before John was born. It failed. The second was set to strike at John himself when he was still a child. As before, the resistance was able to send a lone warrior, a protector for John. It was just a question of which one of them would reach him first. "

This is the only T2 figure I managed to owned. It is from Macfarlane Terminator 2 series which I got some years back at Spawn Asia. Did I mention I got it loose? LOL

Personally, this figure successfully capture the coolest of terminator (expressionless) with good details and paint job. As for the likeness of Arnold Schwarzenegger, they should do a better. Well I shouldn't complain as this is the only T2 figure I got.

These boots are made for walking and that’s just what they’ll do...but this figure can't even move his legs....

The black leather Jacket with the zippers are always in fashion. Ever wonder where they get the leather?

Next the firearms. I kinda damage this one tho... Maybe I try playing too hard. :P

but the shotgun is mint condition. Just look at the details. See the metal ring?

I prefer him as a Protector rather than a Terminator. Who will not want him as a body guard right? Better to have a friend than an enemy you know. LOL

I like the way he uses the shotgun.

Not to mention he always looking for clothing and vehicle to continue his objective in both T1 and T2.

And one of the classic line in all Terminator series (even in the TV series) is none other but this.

I have yet to owned a exoskeleton of the Terminator T800 yet. Hopefully I can get one affordable one soon.

Since we are at the topic of Terminator, I'm going to share this gift from a close friend of mine when he visited Japan Universal Studio few years back.

The package include 3 key chains and a postcard. My favorite is the T800 skull of course. Since it was a gift from a precious friend, I kept it mint for memory sake. :)

Overall I enjoy most of the Terminator franchise which also includes Fox TV series Terminator, The Sarah Connor chronicles and I hope the new Terminator movie will meet it's mark. Terminator became a pop culture icon that capture most of my growing up imagination. I'm sure it is for you too.

Dragonball Vehicle 2: Saiyan Space Pod

Another Cool vehicle in Dragonball IMHO is the Saiyan Space pod. As small as it is, it can travel long distance and keep the traveler sleeping in that long hours of traveling.

I also wonder what fuel and mechanism that kept this small pod going.

As for toys, there are some of it but today I'm going to share with you one of my latest collection for space pod. It not really a toy tho... From Banpresto comes the Saiyan Space pod scotch tape holder.

Close up on the Banpresto.

Here's a full view of the Card art

Always check on the original product by the sticker...

Open the Toy! Okay in this case, Open the Stationary.

It comes with 2 rolls of scotch tapes. One is the Super Saiyans.

While another Goku brother's Raditz.

Saiyan space pod goes round and round. You can roll it as a ball.

The door can be opened.

Let's open it apart to insert the scotch tape.

Insert one roll in...

Looking through the window at the door, you can see Raditz face in it. That what the design of the scotch tape is for. Neat!

My super Saiyan Goku toy at it again...

For once, I agree with Vegeta. LOL

Kisuke Urahara figurine from Bleach

Kisuke Urahara 浦原 喜助 is the Former Captain of the 12th Division and also former President of the Science Bureau of Soul Society from the Japanese Anime series Bleach. He was one of the coolest captain who very often hide himself from getting too much attention.

Being a scientist, Kisuke remain very much traditional in his dressing and manner of speech.

I got him for quite a number of years now. His style still appeal to me.

Whenever I look at this figure, it always remind me of a song by Graig David, Walking Away. See for yourself.

Isn't that cool? You saw something that shouldn't be there?

For those who still have no clue what and how the song sound like, this is for you.
